Our services are provided to you with the highest care and quality at all times. Please take time to read
about specific products and services we offer to ensure your satisfaction.
No fix, no fee:
We offer a no fix, no fee in the event of repairs only. This service does not extend to visiting your address
to diagnose an issue for free with other computing issues, unless you agree to have work carried out that
point.
Quotes:
We cannot give an accurate quote for a task by telephone. You, the client, must accept that certain tasks
may be subject to unforeseen issues which can cause the task to take slightly longer than originally thought.
In this instance we insist that we finish the job 100% properly, or we will not be able to guarantee the work.
The client must also accept that it is their responsibility to accurately describe faults, or tasks in order for
an accurate quote to be done. It is our policy to be as honest and accurate as possible to provide good
service.
Software:
Any software sold to the customer is not refundable under any circumstances. Due to strict counterfeiting
legislation, any software opened or used would not be eligible for refund.
In the event of after sales back up, specifically in the case of machines we have dis-infected, or re-installed
the operating system on, including new machines, we cannot accept any responsibility for corruptions
caused by user error. All work carried out to rectify deleted, or corrupted files and programs will be charged.
Appointments:
Our appointments are booked to be attended within a two hour window. We accept that appointments
need to be re-arranged, or cancelled, but we really appreciate a call. After all, it is FREE!
Failure to attend an appointment without reasonable, or any prior communication will result in 4 Tek reserving
the right to refuse services to the client, or address permanently. It’s just courtesy after all!
Support:
Whilst we provide a standard tutorial for new machines and most of our work, we do not provide on going
tuition for customers who are not able to use their machine or operating system. We do provide a special
tuition service chargeable at our usual labour rate.
Payment:
All goods remain the property of 4Tek until full payment is received and cleared. As with other companies,
we do not accept cheques and will not provide extended terms of credit or payment. All products and
services are due for payment on completion. In certain situations we may ask for part payment in advance.
We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure on-line payment facilities.
